During the campaign, there was a little scuffle between 2 PDP supporters but the police and other supporters swiftly calmed them Down.
The Master Of Ceremony Said , "We've Heard That Youths Are The Leaders Of Tomorrow , Back Then In The Old Gongola State, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor Then, Almost 30 years he is still in trying to remain as the National Chairman of the PDP.."
"Our Old Parents Of 70 years are Still Struggling with life and are weak, yet we want to allow Buhari, a 76 year old man to rule us ".
Hours Later, Rt Hon Uzo Azubuike, Mrs Blessing Nwagba, Others Excluding The Governorship Candidate Mr Okezie Ikpeazu And The Incumbent Governor, Theodore Orji who were inexcusably absent.
The Last Time Orji came to campaign in 2011, it would be recalled that Aba Residents Hurled Satchets Of Water On Him. Most People Presenting At The Campaign predicted that the Governor would not come because he was scared of being hurled with satchets of water for a second time.
As Voices Rose About The Satchet Water Issue, Security Personnel asked all hawkers who sold satchet water to leave the event.
Rt Hon Uzo Azubuike Also Said That
The Ukwu Mango Road which links Ariaria Directly To Faulks Road Would Be Repaired Next week .
This promise is what most residents of Aba and traders are really hopeful that it would be kept.
